About PortugalMaps.com

What PortugalMaps.com is

PortugalMaps.com is a free collection of interactive maps for travellers planning a trip to Portugal. Every region, city and thematic map is built on OpenStreetMap data, with markers for the sights, beaches, stations and viewpoints we think are most useful.

How we put the maps together

We research each place using official tourism sources, transport operators such as CP (Comboios de Portugal), and on-the-ground travel experience. Journey times, prices and opening rules change, so always confirm the details with the operator or attraction before you travel.

How the site is funded

The maps are free to use. Some pages include affiliate links to booking partners such as train ticket and hotel sites. If you book through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which places we recommend. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.

Found a mistake?
